With this marketing action, Gloaming created, produced and organized together with Oxen a FIFA 23 community tournament whose main goal was to boost sponsorship of brands with UCL through a unique experience, creating an entertainment space for new esports audiences. 

PROJECT’S GOALS AND CHALLENGES

Activation allowed talented gamers from all over the country to compete in a FIFA23 tournament in a two-legged knockout tie format. The top 8 qualified teams travelled to Buenos Aires to compete in the playoffs on-site phase at a Burger King® restaurant, where the two finalists were decided. .

Influencer Lucas Rodríguez was the main figure of the campaign, and he hosted all the info about the tournament in his Twitch channel, accompanied by other important people, such as Sara Sklate, Benito, and Alfredo Montes de Oca. 


The tournament was a success. The two finalists were awarded a trip to Istanbul by Pepsi Argentina to attend the UEFA Champions League final, and the champion became a professional FIFA player for Oxen, thus having the possibility to attend the world’s best gaming competitions.
