Quilmes entrusted us the exclusive pre-release of its 2022 World Cup commercial. We produced a Twitch stream with Joaco López and Coscu. The goal was to produce content that resonates deeply with Gen Z.

PROJECT’S GOALS AND CHALLENGES

To broadcast the stream, a hype campaign was created in Twitter and Instagram, where Joaco, who has been hosting the brand’s “Balón de Potrero” show since 2021, invited Coscu to watch the commercial preview. We decided that the commercial preview would have a reaction format, so no one saw it beforehand in order for the surprise to be genuine.

THE KEY OF THE CONTENT SUCCESS WAS TO COMBINE THE TWO GENERATION Z’S PASSIONS: THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM AND THE STREAMING SCENE.

Traditionally, Quilmes World Cup commercials have set the trend within Argentina’s football tradition. The brand’s decision to release it via Twitch before the official premiere nationwide strengthens the importance content creators achieved in recent years, and it’s an example of how to reach early consumers (+18) with effective content.
